Assess Your Risk

Do You Have a Periodontal Infection?

Your gums and bone are both important foundations for your teeth and dental work. You may be at risk for periodontal disease, the leading cause of tooth loss. Look over the following checklist to get an idea of your level of risk for periodontal infection.

  • Have you noticed any change in the way your teeth fit together?
  • Do you floss less than once a day?
  • Do you wear braces?

Medium Risk
