Can a healthy smile really change lives? We believe it can and does.

FCIP News

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then what is a smile worth?

January is a month where resolutions are made and broken, and some are celebrated from the successful year prior. Many people often think about getting healthier in the year ahead with a commitment to exercising more, eating better, or quitting an unhealthy habit. What about oral health? Some promise to brush and floss more or pay a visit to the dentist for a checkup and cleaning.

One of the biggest contributors to our overall health is our teeth. How we care for them and the condition our teeth are in, can be a determining factor for health in many ways; mentally and physically. An individual’s smile and oral health can impact how we eat and affect our self esteem and emotions. Our smile tells a story and is the first impression to others. But getting the smile we want can take time and money. Like any personal life goal, its an investment in ourselves, which in the long run is the best investment that can last a lifetime.

At Fairfield County Implants and Periodontics we understand how important a decision to improve your smile and oral health can be. Helping you achieve that goal with the most comfort, the best care and with the results you expect is our priority. We know and have seen first hand how lives can change, simply with a great smile. The photo below is an actual patient, and the results speak for themselves. Healthy teeth are not just functional, but have a great effect on our total health.

We encourage you to visit our website gallery, read our patient reviews and contact us with your questions or to make an appointment. Our excellent staff and experienced doctors a ready to provide you with the world-class care that Fairfield County Implants & Periodontics is known for.

We value and care for our patients. Thank you for the wonderful feedback!

FCIP News

2015 is off to a great start at Fairfield County Implants and Periodontics! We appreciate all the kind words our patients take the time to share in their feedback.

Here is an outstanding patient review:

“My association with Dr. Sonick dates back to the early 90’s when I first consulted him regarding a dental issue. At that time, he was not able to treat me, but promised to keep in touch. True to his word, several years later, he communicated by letter that he thought he would be able to help me. I probably hold the record for the most dental implants in a single office visit. I believe I was one of the first patients to be treated with bone replacement graft. My treatment was very involved and complicated and it spanned over a 2 year period before it was complete. I still visit his office for scheduled prophylaxis on a regular basis with Lori. Our association goes back decades. I can tell you from the moment I am greeted by the reception staff, through the treatment and visit with the doctor if warranted, I am received with friendliness, professionalism and first class service. Through the years, staff has changed, but Dr. Sonick continues to recruit replacements who get better and better. I don’t know how he accomplishes this, but he does. Dr. Sonick does not rest until he is able to help and please you. He is easy to talk with and cares what you have to offer to the conversation. I know that my life has been made better because of him. There is no place, and I mean no place, anywhere, like this office. I’m so grateful that I first consulted with him so many many years ago.”

Most importantly, I trust Dr. Sonick completely. I had two teeth pulled, infection cleaned, bone grafting done … it was a painless procedure with no pain afterwards (some discomfort). Swelling was not at all bad and almost gone 3 days later, as I write this.”

FCIP News

Primum non nocere – First, Do no harm. This is the guiding principle we hold above all at Fairfield County Implants & Periodontics. Dr. Sonick and staff put the patient first, paying close attention to thier concerns and comfort while providing the very best care options and treatment for the indiviual’s needs. This is what sets FCIP apart from other practices. Our consistent reviews reflect this concept of which we are proud to share!

Here is our latest outstanding feedback from a patient:

“I have had a lifetime of chronic dental trouble and have seen many dentists over the years. Nowhere have I been treated with greater professionalism, understanding, or respect. The quality of Dr. Sonick’s work is simply extraordinary, and the entire office experience earns top marks. They treat the whole patient here, not just teeth and gums. Their 360 degree approach to patient care is sadly rare among medical/dental professionals, and I am relieved beyond measure to have found this practice and to be in their care”.
