Many of our patients with missing teeth were told they were not candidates for implant treatment. Fortunately, we have been able to help most of these patients. With bone regeneration techniques and state of the art technology, we have found that there are very few patients for whom dental implants cannot be a reality. The jawbone exists only to support a tooth. When teeth are removed or extracted, the surrounding bone and gums can shrink or recede causing bone loss. When this occurs, there may be unsightly defects and/or the collapse of your lips and cheeks. When bone loss occurs, it may preclude placement of dental implants. The key to implant success is the quantity and quality of bone where the implant is to be placed.
We offer many procedures to regenerate the jawbone and create a solid foundation for dental implants prior to, during and following implant placement.
