Another happy patient!

Dr. Sonick and everyone at his office is simply the best. They are all caring, dedicated professionals with a warmth and kindness you don’t always find at other offices. I make the trip down from the Hartford area to continue to see Dr. Sonick and his staff because I know they represent the absolute best in patient care.

Implant dentistry is now part of routine dental treatment. It is no longer enough for an implant to merely osseointegrate; it must be esthetic as well. The maxillary anterior dental implant is perhaps the most challenging for the clinician. A multiplicity of techniques must be mastered including but not limited to ideal implant placement, proper surgical technique, bone augmentation, soft tissue development and proper restoration.

Happy Holidays!

Some sugar-free drinks can also damage teeth, experts warn

Researchers at the Oral Health Cooperative Research Centre (CRC), based at the University of Melbourne, Australia, tested 23 different types of sugar-free drinks – including soft drinks and sports drinks – and found those that contain acidic additives and those with low pH levels cause measurable damage to tooth enamel, even if they have no sugar.
