Dr. Debby Hwang practices as a full-time periodontist and implant surgeon. An experienced lecturer and published author, Dr. Hwang has presented on several scientific and clinical issues nationally and internationally. Aside from private practice, Dr. Hwang spends time traveling across America, visiting family and friends, hiking, rescuing animals and discussing pop culture. She lives in Southport, Connecticut.
Dr. Hwang is is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association. With respect to practice, she has a particular interest in periodontal plastic surgery as well as bone grafting for implants.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Hwang co-manages two implant residencies, Fairfield County Dental Club and the Fairfield County Dental Hygiene Study Club. She is the co-chief editor of an upcoming text on dental implant site development and continues to write a number of research and review papers for prominent journals.
